A look / feel piece done while I was working in Nova Scotia on Richard Scarry's BusyTown Mysteries. It was for an animated series which never fully got off the ground. Cape Breton Island is an interesting place. It really does feel like you are on the edge of the world. Pretty though.

From Windows an upcoming graphic novel written by performance artist Joe Frank. I was living in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan while doing the art on this book and used a lot of the landmarks as reference, including this old bridge, which I hear is now closed.

One evening while at the Dussmann KulturKaufhaus in Berlin I was thumbing through a copy of Comic Art Now and discovered my art from this Beowulf project featured in the book. It was a pleasant surprise being featured alongside heavies like Mike Mignola (Hellboy), Dave Gibbons (Watchmen) and Chris Ware (ACME).
